The Weight of Future Histories

"The Weight of Future Histories" considers the environmental impact of industrial clothing manufacturing practices and how they must change moving into the future. The sculpture creates an allegory of the past and present methods of production and consumption, signifying the hunger for novelty and comfort and the strain these desires place on the environment and human psyche.

While dealing with past mistakes and correcting course in the present, how do we bear the weight of potential mistakes of the future at such a consequential moment?
